The "Illustrierter Film-Kurier" (Berlin) was the archetype of later film programmes. Containing film contents and crew lists as well as appealing photos and, last but not least, some outstanding graphics, it is still a sought-after collector′s item.
The series comprises the volumes from 1919 to 1944, thus covering the majority of films that were shown in German cinemas. Several programmes from the first volumes are still missing, whereas the collection of programmes from the 1930s and 1940s is almost complete. Rarities include programmes such as "Die Nibelungen" (1924) or "Der alte Fritz" (1928).
