Restoring historical film equipment, models, props, and costumes as well as posters, documents, and photographs, the Restoration Department handles a broad range of materials with different properties and is divided into two separate work areas: A cleanroom and a workshop with technical equipment such as a lathe, a drilling machine, and bench grinders. The department regularly offers pre-study internships in the fields of photo restoration and modern materials/technical cultural property.
